Day 4 PlanetBase

So  for the last day on PlanetBase I will try to.... Unlock the Class F Planet! To do that I need to get 5 milestones, lucky I already have 3 so I only need to complete 2 more milestones.... So plan to do that is very simple learn what milestones I need to complete! So saying that there's 7 milestones I can complete i'm making the the decision to only do the easiest ones which are:Robotization :build/ buy ten robots and megalomania: make a totally pointless monolith....
First up Megalomania!
How I did it: start a new world and quickly build a monolith.
Next is Robotization..
After a few minutes I loaded up my last game and built a robot factory...

Good things: more robots
Bad things: no more spare parts
After this happened I quickly bought a buttload from a trader.

On second thought I may not have enough time and material for the Robotization milestone ....
Well I was right I did not have enough time to make the ten robots.
At least 4/5 is good
This game is amazing sure it has a few bugs but other than that its addicting!!

Day 4 - PlanetBase

So the things what went wrong in PlanetBase.... So to start off my constructor bot glitched out and it thought was a carrier bot, and that was the least of my problems as the population was growing I didn't have enough food to feed them. So my plan to avoid those problems is to recycle the robots once they go hay-wired then make sure to control all the colonists to not over populate.

Aftermath: After planing out what to do I have made it to day 12 (so far) which is a new personal record!
(The only problem was power during the night)
So in conclusion nothing bad really happened this time (saying that I destroyed the constructor bot before he could mess everything up) Sure I did have some close calls with asteroids and starch but other than that this run went great!

PlanetBase review day3

Today, I started playing PlanetBase for real this time, the following is my strategy:

My strategy (After many attempts) is to quickly build the essentials airlock, oxygen generator etc etc.
Then I slowly started to become self-sufficient ( so far i haven't been self-sufficient because my constructor bot thinks he's a carrier bot).....
After I found out that my constructor bot was acting like a carrier bot i made the decision to recycle it....
Thank God I did because that helped me move forward.
After the Robot incident I quickly expanded my base and made 3 milestones,
Build a monolith ,survive one day, self sufficiency.
Over all there's a few bugs in this game but it is addicting.

PlanetBase Tutorial Review

Today I got play the PlanetBase tutorial, at first it looked like it was a straight forward tutorial, boy was I wrong.

To make a colony with out making the mistakes I made you must first create a oxygen generator, solar power generator, water generator , a canteen ,a dorm and an air lock for those are the essentials .
First click the bubble on the top left .
Second select one of the essentials in any order you feel comfortable with.

Once you have built the essentials your colony should look like the photo above, also a quick tip: try to quickly build the essentials so your colonists don't die.
After a good idea would be to build a factory to build and repair the construction robots.
TIP press the (+) button to speed up time.

My first impression of Planet Base

PlanetBase is a strategy game where you guide a group of colonists in space trying to establish an outpost in a deserted planet, desert planet, frozen planet and a gas giant moon.

Each with increasing difficulty,  you are trying to manage resources, colonists and trying to survive the wrath of the deserted planet, like: desert storms and asteroids.
As you try and survive the barren planet you will have 5 different types of people and 3 kinds of robots (as seen below) each helping with a certain objective as in building, medical, guard and biology.
In a way you could say that this is a space version of SimCity.
